Who We Are
The Concrete Guys is a concrete contractor at 30 Crossland Ave Ste 201A, Clarksville, TN 37040. You can reach us at (931) 999-8478 or grant@theroofguystn.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" means The Concrete Guys.
What the Quote Form Collects
The quote form on our homepage asks a few questions so we can price your job and get back to you. When you press Request Official Quote, your browser sends us:
- Your name and phone number. Both are required.
- The address or location of the project.
- Your email address, only if you choose to give one.
- The job details you picked: the type of work, the length and width you typed in, whether old concrete needs to come out, whether you want rebar or fiber reinforcement, and the price range the form showed you.
- How many photos you picked in step 3. The photos themselves are not uploaded. They stay on your phone or computer, and we may ask you to text them to us.
What our server adds
Our web server saves the date and time of your request, your IP address and your browser's user-agent (a short line of text that names your browser and device type) along with the form details. It also keeps the times of recent requests in a file named with a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, so it can limit how many requests one connection can send in an hour. That stops scripts from flooding us with fake requests.
Why We Collect It
We use your details to answer your quote request: to call, text or email you back about it, to set up a free on-site visit, and to keep a record of the job if you hire us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to other companies for their marketing.
Where It Goes and Who Handles It
When you send the form, two things happen, in this order:
- It is saved on our web server. This website is hosted by Hostinger, which also delivers the pages through its own content delivery network. Your request is written to a file in a private folder on that server, and the server is set to refuse any request to view that folder from the web.
- It is emailed to us. Our server sends your request to our business inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. The email carries the form details listed above, but not your IP address or browser details. It is sent from and delivered to addresses on theroofguystn.com, the website of The Roof Guys, our sister company with the same owners. That inbox is hosted by Google Workspace. If you gave us your email address, pressing Reply on that email answers you directly.
A delivery note
Right after the email step, the server adds a short note to the same private file: whether the email went out, the address it went to, and the reply address (yours, if you gave one).
HTTPS
The site is served over HTTPS, and our server hands the email to Resend over HTTPS as well.
Fonts, Cookies and Tracking
Every page loads its fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To fetch them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address and browser details the way any website you visit does. Nothing you type into the quote form is sent to Google Fonts.
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It does not save anything in your browser's storage. Apart from Google Fonts, your browser only talks to our own server while you read these pages.
Some of our pages list their sources with links to other websites. If you follow one, that website's own privacy policy applies.
Text Messages and Calls
The form does not send you automated text messages or calls, and it does not sign you up for any list. After you send it, one of our owners, Chris or Grant, may call or text you at the number you gave us about your quote.
How Long We Keep It
The copy of your request saved on our web server is a backup in case an email goes missing. It is deleted automatically 90 days after you send it.
Your request is also emailed to us, and that email stays in our business inbox until we delete it. Ask us and we will delete it sooner (see below).
Getting a Copy, Fixing It or Deleting It
Email grant@theroofguystn.com or call (931) 999-8478 and tell us the name and phone number you used on the form. We will send you a copy of what we have, correct it, or delete it from our server and our inbox.
Resend and Google keep their own records of the emails they handle, under their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how the site handles your information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
